Marquette: This is the first of our major running projects. The British transport 'Marquette' was torpedoed by the German U 35, off Thermaikos Gulf, Greece in 1915. The wreck was located at a depth of 87 meters and identified back in 2009. These are a few photos of her plus a short video. View gallery...

The wreck's foredeck is in fair condition. Visible are the two hatches, the winches and between them the fore mast fallen to starboard. The collapsed bow is now lying on the bottom.
